Family Support

In this section we welcome and listen to families having a handicapped child. We determine their needs and look for ways to improve and develop their abilities and their self confidence in order to give them a chance to find their place in society or possibly work within the system.

Family support also plays a big role in showing the value of handicapped persons to those who live in a very poor, neglected area of Damascus. It accomplishes this with the help and support of assistants and persons from Al-Safina, through activities organized with the participation of young scouts and University students.
